Tutoring Experience: I have enjoyed teaching extensively over the past 10 years in the UK and abroad. I hold an LRAM Teaching Diploma from the Royal Academy of Music and am a Certified Suzuki Teacher. Additionally, I have served as a teaching assistant to Sandy Yamamoto, 2nd violinist of the Miro Quartet.
Tutoring Approach: My teaching combines Western and European approaches. I have studied in California, New York, and Texas, and have recently completed my Master's degree at the Royal Academy of Music in London studying with Gyorgy Pauk. I have received a wide range of instruction over the course of my 19 years of playing and therefore have a plethora of knowledge that I bring into my own teaching. I combine the values and principals of the Suzuki Method with more traditional methods and approaches. Cultivating an individual approach for each student is very important to me, therefore my teaching method is constantly changing based on each individual student's needs. I am a performer at heart, so my teaching is a very personal reflection of all that I am continuing to discover as a performer.
