Personal Description: I am a recent graduate of the Academy of Contemporary Music, a leading musical education facility. I have experience playing in most genres and an a deep understanding of the mechanics and theory of music, and the relevant application of this knowledge. Through over 10 years of live experience I am also aware of the importance of performance and presentation in music in a live situation.

Tutoring Approach: My approach to teaching is very individual to the student. Depending on their skill, experience and intentions I would aim to:

Ensure safe and efficient playing through the application of proper technique.

Teach musical notation from drum kit sight reading to full orchestral compositional levels.

Allow the student to begin to explore their own preferences in music through ear training tuituion.

Teach the practical application of these skills in a realistic working envirnment.

Discuss the upkeep and improvement of the students musical equipment.

Make sure the student has fun.
