Personal Description: I have lived and worked in Scotland for the last 18 years and have taught violin and viola in Lochaber , Moray and the Orkney Islands. I love and play an eclectic mix of musical styles from classical , folk fiddle to rock , pop and world music.

Tutoring Experience: I have over twenty years of teaching experience with children and adults of all levels of ability and currently work for Edinburgh City Council as a full time violin/viola teacher in Edinburgh schools.
I have tutored on orchestral courses for the National Childrens Orchestra of Scotland as well as Folk Fiddle workshops all over Scotland.
I have also worked in Brazil as a tutor for an international music festival.

Tutoring Approach: I have a fun approach to music making and believe that laying the foundations of a good technique is essential thus enabling the student to play any style of music they wish in the future.
My oldest pupil is 69 and my youngest is 4 so age is no barrier !
